We had a wonderful stay in the Standard Double Room, which was cleaned perfectly and had a lovely decor. The staff were incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. Plus, the breakfast options were delicious, especially the full English and vegetarian selections.

It was uncomfortably hot with a noisy fan, and the bathroom had noticeable issues with the taps and shower, making it tricky to use. While appreciative of the warm hospitality, these fundamental problems ultimately detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Selections felt limited, with no pastries or fresh fruits available. The hot breakfast was decent, but poached eggs could use some attention. I found the noise from nearby activities a bit disruptive, especially early in the morning. Despite these issues, the positives made my stay enjoyable.
